KASOA: HOSPITAL SEPTIC TANK BROKEN FOR YEARS WITHOUT REPAIR.

Residents of the Walantu has expressed worry over a serious stench from a septic tank.
This septic tank is believed to belong to the Kasoa Polyclinic located in the area.

Residents say,the broken tank of the health facility is making life very uncomfortable for them.
They are faced with several problems from hygiene problems to multiple disease contractions.

Malaria, typhoid, diarrhea, chicken Pox, Skin rashes, and others are so far the  diseases reported of.

Upon interacting with some residents of the community, they showed much displeasure about the unhygienic condition.

It was revealed that all efforts to put an end to the condition proved futile.

They are however appealing to the Minister of Environment and Science Technology and innovations, Professor Frimpong Boateng to intervene.

In further conversations with the hospital authorities, it was confirmed that the septic tank had been broken couple of years ago.

They emphasized that it was the duty of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly to construct a drainage system to help flush out waste water.

As a result ,they pleaded with the MCE for the area Hon. Michael Asumang Mensah to come to their aid.

The residents also appealed to him see to the health and well-being of the people living in the Kasoa Walantu community since he has neglected them in terms of drainage system.
