The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed that five more lives have been lost to the covid19.
The coronavirus which had an outbreak in mid- March has produced a lot of case counts and a death toll on the citizens of Ghana. According to the GHS, the five new death cases has raised the case count of Ghana’s death toll to 153.
The GHS has urged all citizens not to panic and fear.The GHS upon the emergence of covid19 in Ghana put measures in place for citizens to adhere to,to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Such measures include the wearing of face masks,use of sanitizers,regular washing of hands and the strict adherance to social distancing .
The GHS has also urged citizens to adhere to the safety protocols which have been put in place.
According to GHS,Ghana has recorded 28,430 cases,3376 active cases,763 new cases, 24430 recoveries and 153 recorded deaths.
