A 25 year old hairdresser Ama Bonsuwaa has been brutally murdered at Opeikuma a suburb of Kasoa in the Central region.
The incident which took place yesterday afternoon has shocked residents of the area who live in fear of their lives as they don’t know when these armed robbers would strike again.
According to Joe a brother to the deceased, his sister also runs errands for a neighbor. She went there to do her daily chores in the afternoon when she met the armed robbers in the house.
It turned out the now deceased knew the robbers by face. Not leaving any chance for their exposure they decided to rape and kill her.
The robbers dumped her body in a refuse bin close to the house and placed garbage on the body as a disguise.
Madam Mary Otoo , the mother of the deceased expressed shock at the manner her daughter was mercilessly murdered adding that she demands justice for the death of her innocent daughter.
The owner of the house where Ama was murdered Mr Kwaku Antwi said he came home and found out that his house had been broken into.
He quickly went round the house only to find the 25 year old Ama’s naked body in the refuse bin behind the house.
“I quickly called the Assembly man for the area and we went to the police station “, he said.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue pending investigation.
