RESIDENTS OF OPEIKUMA’S LIVES IN DANGER

 

The residents in Kasoa Opeikuma in the Central Region of Ghana are crying over bad roads, bridges and so forth.

And they are pleading with government to intervene for them.

The Opeikuma road have bad road network for about years now.

The cause of this bad roads delays people when going to work and school children when going to school.

According to the residents of  Opeikuma Community, the MP in that district, Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson promise to reconstruct the bad roads, bridges and so forth for them.

But till date all her promises are still not attend to, which means she did not fulfil her promise to the people.

First, the road was in a bad shape, now it has been constructed from the Kasoa Opeikuma junction to Kumbe Islamic School.

Even with that, there are potholes on the already constructed road.

From Kumbe Islamic School all the way to the Opeikuma village, the roads are still in bad shape.

This rough road with huge potholes causes minor accidents, which puts their lives in danger.

Some drivers complain of their vehicles getting damage, so they end up spending their sales in maintaining the vehicles.

The residents of Opeikuma community are crying for government to come to their aid over bad road.
