The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin has commissioned a multipurpose library for the people of Gyangyadze in the Effutu municipality
The MP has within the last four years built Twelve (12) new Libraries, at different communities in the constituency, to support reading. The newly multipurpose facility was handed over to the Ghana Library Authority by the MP.
According to the MP, his motive for building the Libraries is to encourage reading, especially among school children in the constituency. Speaking at a short ceremony before the Commissioning, the Member of Parliament remarked “This Library is here to serve my people, especially the children and the youth in this constituency, they are my priority. I want to boost the culture of reading in Effutu”
Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin is the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary candidate for Effutu constituency, and he is seeking a third term in the upcoming general election. Speaking at the ceremony, He admonished his constituents to vote for him and the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, to continue transforming Ghana
