“”I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE DEATHS AT OBOM” SAYS AMBULANCE DIRECTOR

The Director for National Ambulance service has stated that, his office cannot do anything about the number of deaths at Obom Domebra constituency in the Greater Accra region.

Mr. Edusie remarked that, after the ambulances were commissioned by the President of the republic on 8th January, all the ambulances were distributed to the various constituencies to support healthcare. However, the clinic at Obom could not provide them with office space to enable the paramedic staff to work.

Speaking on Pink Fm’s morning show, Omanba Pa kasa, Officer Edusie said “we presented the ambulance to the constituency for use, but the clinic couldn’t give our staff office space and accommodation to work, so we took the ambulance back to a safer place around Anyaa –Sowutom. Also the clinic needs a pavilion were the ambulance would be park. I can’t do anything about the deaths”

Pink News has been following development at Obom Domebra Constituency with regards to a ‘missing’ ambulance in the constituency which has led to the death of many residents, including the death of a unit committee chairman Mr. Adjin Lartey, spoke to the news team on Wednesday and died on Friday morning due to unavailability of the constituency ambulance.
