LACK OF HEALTH EQUIPMENT, THE CAUSE OF RAMPANT DEATH IN THE COUNTRY-HANNAH BISSIW

The Former Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Hannah Bissiw has made the assertion that rampant death in the country is as a result of lack of health equipment.

Petitioning the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital last Friday, she said the rate at which people are dying at the various hospitals in the country is as a result of patients’ not securing better and quality treatment from the hospitals when sick.

Speaking on an Accra base Radio station, she further explained the need for the petition saying “Our health issue in the country has now turned into Politics” and that she being a caring mother cannot look on to see people lose their lives all in the name of political colors.

Meanwhile to her, nobody knows whether these patients belong to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or the New Patriotic Party (NPP), despite her Political affiliation.

“The President by means of capturing power, promised Ghanaians to be a President who is ever ready to deal with problems facing the country especially that of the health sector, yet it has all been a wild goose chase”, she added.

She then urged that, the media can also help make their petition to be given the needed attention since it is a call on us all to fight for the best.
