On Wednesday, popular UTV telenovela hostess Maame Yeboah announced to fans her decision to leave UTV Ghana, and join Adom TV. According to her, she’ll be hosting the discussion segment for the Veera ‘twi-novela’, as she wrote;
“You my fan are very special to me so am glad to inform you that your friend , sister, mentor, mother , TV and radio show host, yours truly( Maame Yeboaa Asiedu) has now joined # the Multi Media Group# so follow me on #ADOMTV# especially on #Veera# Monday to Friday 4pm and the Omnibus on Saturday 12 noon , then the #BIG #DISCUSSION just after the omnibus .

Maame Yeboah had earlier made the announcement on Adom FM ‘Ofiekwanso’, Wednesday, where she did state that;
“”I am happy to have joined Multimedia Group, I have always wanted to work with Multimedia and joining the company is a dream come true…,”.
This statement seems to imply she wasn’t so happy at UTV Ghana, as she indicated that she had always wanted to work with Multimedia.
She also added that;
“”Come on board, come with me because we are going to have a pleasant experience on TV and the chatroom which would be aired on Saturdays would be a wow…I can promise that its going to be mega and an improvement of whatever delivery style I had previously…,”
Fans have however reacted, with many expressing sadness over her move, as well as some other mixed reactions.
