WE SHOULD DESIST FROM INSTANT JUSTICE,HON. EDWARD BAWA

The Member of Parliament for Bongo district,Hon. Edward Bawa has edged Ghanaians to hand over criminals to the Police to let the law take its course and desist from instant justice.

The MP had visit the Muslim Community to donate some items to them in aiding the celebration of the upcoming Ramadan.

In his speech,Hon. Bawa had remarked that “The lynching of Major Maxwell Mahama has affected the whole of Ghana”.

Adding that “I advice all, being Muslim, Christian or Traditionalist, we are to take note that, we have the Police around to which we can send anyone we think has offended the society to in order to investigate in to the matter and apply the law in dealing with such people if found guilty”.

However,he pleaded with the Police saying “If criminal cases are reported to them, they(Police) should take their time to investigate into the matter because if the society trust the Police, it will reduce the rate at which people will take to throwing stones and stick at alleged criminals in their quest to fight for justice instead of the law being applied”
