KWESI ARTHUR TO WIN VIEWERS ‘ CHOICE AWARD; GHANAIANS HOPEFUL.

Ghanaian fans of the budding hip-hop artiste Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior popularly known in the music industry as Kwesi Arthur have in the past 24 hours expressed how vibrant they are in supporting him on his nomination for the 2018 BETAwards.

The Grind day crooner ,Kwesi Arthur expressed his gratitude for the love and support most Ghanaians keep showering him. He reached out to say how thankful he was on his twitter page  @KwesiArthur_ _”This journey gets crazier each day, whoever thought a kid from C9 Tema , Ghana would be nominated for such a prestigious award.We thank God for the grace , and i can’t thank you people enough for your support”.

On various social media platforms, fans have not failed at hyping the biggest achievement of his career  and also encouraging others to vote as well .

The rising hip-hop star was nominated for the 2018 BETAwards for VIEWERS’ CHOICE:BEST NEW INTERNATIONAL ACT alongside other artiste around the globe with South African recording artiste Sjava and Nigerian songtress, Niniola.

Kwesi Arthur’s Grind day remix earned him an award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards as the hip-hop song of the year. He gained a reputation in the Ghana music industry for hit songs Anthem,Grind day remix, Up and awake among others.

BACKGROUND

Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior popularly known in the music industry as Kwesi Arthur is a Ghanaian Hip-Hop/ Trap musician. He was born on the 18th of December 1994 in Tema.Kwesi Arthur has spent his whole life around his hood, Tema: from Good Sheperd to Sakumono Estate to Naylor SDA then Temasco.

The rapper’s childhood has been a little bit of challenging, narrating to Kuulpeeps, Young Arthur had rickets whilst growing up and after SHS, he was supposed to go to GIJ but couldn’t pay the fees so didn’t make it. At one crazy moment, he almost became a security guard. The story is, he had bought forms to the University of Ghana but didn’t get admission.

Kwesi Arthur’s whole rap career started after listening to Drake’s ‘Thank Me Later’. Let’s say it was the stepping stone to what Kwesi Arthur is today. Big ups to Drake.

Young Arthur rose to fame after dropping Grind day Remix featuring Sarkodie and Medikal produced by Kayso. Ground Up Charle, is a movement formed by Kwesi Arthur, and to him, it is more of a family.
