The Veteran actor, Mac Jordan Amartey popularly known as “sugar daddy” has been pronounced dead on Thursday 5th July, 2018 at exactly 6:30pm.
Mac Jordan Amartey has been in the movie industry for so many years till his pass on. He was one of the major characters in the “idikoko” series production some years ago.
The man has been battling for his health for quite some time now. Rumors on Social Media went viral that he was suffering from Diabetes which led to his right leg being amputated in 2012.
Mac Jordan due to his sickness stopped talking for about five (5) weeks and could not even eat well.
Recently, he was taken to the Korle-Bu teaching hospital where food and water was given to him through his nose.
Mac Jordan’s wife who was with her husband at Korle-Bu could not believe the death of her husband because due to his numerous treatment she was expecting her husband to recover but as the saying goes “death has no restrictions to where it wants to reside”.
Mac Jordan, popularly known as “sugar daddy” is 82 years of age and has 5 strong boys but his son, Dr. Amartey who happens to be his third son confirmed the news.
The man could not survive from the medical treatment given to him and on Thursday 5th July, 2018 at exactly 6:30 in the evening, he kicked the bucket.
Indeed Ghana has lost another loved one. We share in the pain and extend our sorrowful condolence to the family. R.I.P Mac Jordan.
