The tomb of the father of” Gold Coast politics”, George Alfred Grant has been used for a drinking spot in the Western Region.
Most Ghanaian has felt disappointed about the act and lamented hoe he has been disrespected and treated unfairly since had also contributed to the struggle for independence for the country. People are left in thought how unpleasant the memory of the politician is being honored.
The director of Creative Arts, at the National Commission on Culture (NCC), Socrate Safo released the images on social media, after paying a visit to the site of the tomb at Axim, in the Western Region.
George Alfred Grand popularly known as “Paa Grant” founded the Gold Coast Convention(UGCC).
