Six men have been arrested by the police in Kasoa I n the Awutu Senya District at the Central Region, for allegedly duping a woman, Florence Annan for her money.
According to the Police, the suspects who are Ahorlu Tugbedor Saaka, Godfred Ametsitorvi, Victor Tsugbedor, Tugbedor Kofi, Victor Ahianyo and Yao Ahanogbe were part of a group which contain men and women.
However, the five suspects were notice in the criminal act of allegedly deceiving Florence Annan who happened to be a trader, in parting with an amount of one thousand and seven hundred Ghana cedi (Ghc1, 700) and her goat.
The six, according to the police tricked Madam Florence, making her believe that her money could double for her but started threatened to beat her if she kept disturbing them for a refund of her money and goats.
Again, the police stated that, the victim Florence Annan, a trader reported the incident after a fruitless effort in getting her money and goat back.
The victim decided to file a complaint at the Criminal Investigation office of the Kasoa divisional police command, which led to the arrest of the six at Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba Airport Junction.
The suspects on seeing the police at the area took to their heels but six of them were overpowered by the police and have since been detained for further investigation.
A small coffin and two boxes of chalk according to the police were retrieved from them.
