The Church has also decided to expel its members who go contrary to the caution.

This was announced by the church’s pastor of the Abuom District under the auspices of the Green View Ghana Conference in the Brong Ahafo Region, Pastor Patrick Obeng Gyamera in an interview with PinkNews after the District’s inauguration.

“This Church is known to be a very discipline one and so we need to keep that record, we have therefore decided to take pragmatic means in safeguarding that dignity and so as it was been announced by our President, we have decided to severely punish any member found in indulging in violent actions during the electioneering period” he disclosed.

Sankore and its surroundings is been counted as one of the hotspot areas in the country so far as electoral violence is concerned, hence many people has given the Adventist church a very loud cheer for its position in ensuring peace in the area.

The Church has set up a group known as “Peace Ambassadors” who are unrelentingly preaching peace within the sub region.
