The president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Akufo Addo leaves the country to neighboring West African country Mali to attend 27th France-African Summit taking place in the capital city of Mali Bamako.This is the president’s official trip.
The Summit is aimed to foster integration process,collective action and cooperation for the common good of participating countries and their peoples,will bring together Heads of State and Government from 30 countries.
The president is expected to sign some trade agreements with neighboring country Mail to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries in the West African sub-region.
The president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to use the opportunity to introduce himself to his colleague Ibrahim Keita as the newly elected president of the Republic of Ghana and discuss political crisis in which has risen in Gambia.
The president will be accompanied by the First Lady of the 4th Republic of Ghana Mrs.Rebecca Akufo Addo.
The president is expected to return tomorrow ,Saturday 14th January 2017.
