PRESIDENT OF NALAG URGES WOMEN TO INVOLVED THEMSELVES IN GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES

The President of (NALAG) National Association of Local Authority of Ghana Hon. Bismark Inkoom has urged women to get involved in government activities as holding positions in governance. Also he doubles as the District Chief Executive of Gomoa West.

According to Mr. Inkoom, people believed women are good at kitchen. And it about time that men encouraged the women to help the country in developing.That for years to come, Ghanaians should not marvel if a woman becomes president in Ghana.

This government led by His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo has occupied a lot of women in his government. This is  because it’s his priority to implicate women, he added.

Hon. Bismark further stated that,the topmost desire of NALAG is to become a repository of knowledge in local governance. This is to make a lot of investors come to the country and make business.

He echoed that, as long as he remains the President of NALAG, he will do all within his power to promote the local governance to develop most rural areas.

He mentioned this to pinknews Mireku Nyampong at a thanksgiving service in Getsemany Methodist Church which is in Ngleshi Amanfrom in Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.This is after he’d been sworn in as NALAG President.
