On 9th June, in the evening, the Black Stars of Ghana played with Namibia at Dubai. This is the first friendly game Ghana is playing in 2019 but they lost to the Namibians. This is a friendly match for them to prepare towards the AFCON Cup.
When the game started Black Stars was taking the lead. As the game moved on, it got to a point where the Namibians took action and they were able to score through a player called Manfred Starke.
After the score from Namibia player Christian Atsu had a penalty but was not able to score. With luck Ghana had another second penalty which was played by Mubarak Wakaso but again he missed the penalty.
Black Stars of Ghana had two penalties to play in all but they lost both of the penalties. But this is not the end; Ghana is also going to play with Bafana Bafana of South Africa on the 15th of June 2019 which is going to be on a Saturday.
This means that Ghana has another chance to prove itself in the match with Bafana Bafana of South Africa. Since Ghana is in Group F, they will begin their competition against Benin on the 25th of June before they face African Champions Cameroon on the 29th of June with all the matches being played at Ismailia Stadium.
