After years of interaction and undergoing various evolutionary changes, dogs know our emotions and try to help out when they see us down. The ‘’eyebrows’’ is what gives the illusions and makes dogs have larger eyes like infants making them cuter than usual.
Dr.Julianne Kaminski ,a lecturer in the psychology department of Portsmouth conducted a study with her colleagues and the only thing that seemed to cause the heart melting effect was the eyebrows.
Dogs have a particular nerve above their eyes and nose that gives that cute puppy face effect .The look occurs naturally so the dogs are oblivious of the effect it has on us. This effect is caused by the ‘’levator anguli oculi medalis.
