NPP CAUTIONS NDC TO STOP POLITICIZING DEATH OF CAPTAIN MAHAMA.

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) has reacted to a press statement by the National Democratic (NDC) which tends to blame the sitting President, Akuffo-Addo for the gruesome death of Captain Maxwell Mahama that happened last Monday at Denkyira-Obuasi

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a press statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia on Wednesday, has expressed their heartfelt of grief for the heinous death of Captain Maxwell Mahama but points accusing fingers at the ruling party under the leadership of President Akuffo-Addo.

“Under the direct supervision of President Akuffo-Addo,the state has watched and sponsored its goon squads to unleash wanton mayhem on innocent Ghanaians;From the beating up of a serving Police Officer at the Flagstaff House to the beating up of a regional Security Co-ordinator,the disruption of a Court Process,the burning of toll booths and the molestation of Civil Servants,the lawless culture of impunity has now reached the doorstep of the Ghana Armed Forces”the statement has explained.

The Greater Accra communication’s director for the NPP,Alhahaji Fofana reacting to the statement on Pink FM’s Omanba Kasa,cautioned that “NDC should stop politicizing death of Captain Mahama since it wasn’t President Akuffo-Addo that asked them to get involve in such of instant justice in the country.

“It is about high time,the NDCs desist from their attitude of using political to view all happenings in the country”,he suggested.
