The President of Ghana has placed a temporary ban on all ministers, Deputy Ministers, MMDCE’s, and Head of Government agencies from traveling outside the country or abroad till further notice(foreign travels).
The directive on a temporary ban was contained in a press statement signed by the chief of staff, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, has warned that no minister will be allowed to travel abroad unless the minister for foreign affairs and regional integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway. It is not clear what may have caused the president to take this action but PinkFMonlinegh is picking from the statement that, the continuous travels of ministers, deputy ministers, MMDCEs and heads of government agencies are ” not helping in terms of development in the country”.
