Mohammed Rabiu pens deal to join Anzhi Makhachkala

Midfielder Mohammed Rabiu has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala from relegated Kuban Kransnodar, Pinkfmonlinegh.com can confirm.

But the Ghana international can only join his teammates after fully recovering from the knee injury which has sidelined him since May.

He suffered the injury after 63 minutes when they hosted Rostov in a Russian Premier League match.

The deal was sealed in Austria where Anzhi are having pre-season and will team up with international teammate Jonathan Mensah.

The 26-year-old has spent three seasons at Kuban Krasnodar and made 20 appearances last season.
