Medeama SC must edge South African side Mamelodi Sundowns to secure a historic CAF Confederation Cup Group stage berth after Thursday’s play-off draw in Cairo.
The Tarkwa-based will travel to the Rainbow nation for the first leg on the weekend of 6-8 May.
Medeama will host the Brazilians at the Sekondi Stadium on 18 May with the winner over two legs advancing to the Group stage.
Sundowns were eliminated from the CAF Champions League by DR Congo side AS Viat Club on the away goals rule.
The Brazilians are handled by respected South African coach Pitso Mosimane.
Sundowns currently lead the Premier Soccer League with a six-point lead with five matches to the end of the season.
