Members of Northerners Association in Miremano, a community in the Jaman South District, Drobo in the Brong Ahafo Region have registered their displeasure on how their “own kinsman” is governing the country.
Speaking in a radio interview, the spokesperson of the association, Joseph Awesigbe said, “following the death of President Mills, we found it prudent to vote our own brother to power so that he will address our needs but he has failed us totally”
He also wailed on how their community has been neglected by the ruling party even though they have been consistent sympathizers of the NDC and hence have decided to retreat their support.
“Our roads are poor, we don’t have good drinking water, eceryone atestifies that this community is dominated mostly by Northeners…this time round we will change our voting direction…we need development….we have rejected our own kinsman because he couldn’t be of help, even after the 2012 elections the NDC only presented a bottle of ‘Prekese’ Gin bitters as an appreciation gift which is an insult and we have not received anything yet again from the NDC” He lamented.
