Kotoko plan to upgrade Adako Jachie training facility

Asante Kotoko have revealed that their training facility at Adako Jachie will be given a massive upgrade and that plan is at the top of the agenda of the new board.

The 9-member board was put together on Thursday and its composition was revealed by Manhyia Palace in a press release.

The board will run on a daily basis and it has been tasked with bringing progress to ensure that it becomes a continental powerhouse.

Speaking on Happy FM on Friday, Nana Kwame Aboagye, who is the special aide to the Manhyia Palace Chief of Staff, stated that there were plans to heavily invest in world class facilities at the team’s Adako Jachie ground.

“We want Kotoko to look like a professional club and so, we are planning  to invest at Adako Jachie. We want to follow the best practices done by the world’s big teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid and others. So we intend to start from a point.”

The new Kotoko board is headed by the team’s Executive Chairman, Kwame Kyei and he has support from 8 other people who are on the board.

The setting up of the board also meets a requirement stated in the GFA’s club licensing rules and regulations.
