CONCERNED KASOA RESIDENTS THREATENS: NO ROAD NO VOTE

Residents of Kasoa- Kae Me Bre has threatened to boycott this year’s general elections if their roads are not been constructed.

The residents have decried about the deplorable state of roads in the suburb of the “West Africa’s fastest growing city with a rapid growing population” especially the link that joins the suburb to CP also another suburb of Kasoa.

In a tour to the area, PINKNEWS’ found placards posted on electricity poles along the stretch of road with similar inscriptions ” DR NUHU ADAMS, NO ROADS NO VOTES” written boldly in red ink.

Some of the residents in an interview with PINKNEWS disclosed that, the MCE, Dr. Alhaji Nuhu Adams have promised to ensure that the road was put into a very good condition to ensure easy transportation and was even part of the Kasoa Interchange project and ancillary works but has been abandoned with some culverts broken down.

They have threatened to either boycott the general elections and ban political activities in the area or vote massively against the MCE who is also contesting as as parliamentarian on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
