Relatives of two little girls who were knocked and killed by an overspending vehicle at Shama Junction in the Western Region are yet to come out of their trauma after news of the sudden demise of the two sisters reached them on Monday evening around 6pm
The two, Emmanuela Enchil 12 and Stephanie Enchil 9 all pupils of Aboadze International School were in the company of their elder sister Maame Aba Nyamewa, 13 when the tragedy occurred
The three siblings were with their Mother at her Shop at Inchaban on Monday, September, 12, 2016 but when it was getting dusky, the mother asked them to go home and take their bath
According to their traumatized elder sister, upon getting to Shama Junction where they lived, the three whose fare were paid by some elderly neighbours in the vehicle alighted with the neighbours
According to her, the two younger siblings were in a hurry to cross so she tried prompting them to wait but it was too late as no sooner had she shouted for them to come back than a Mini Bus from an opposite direction hit them
They were reportedly picked by an NDC branded vehicle that was passing and rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital but they were pronounced dead on arrival
The bodies have since been conveyed to the ENRH Morgue for autopsy whilst investigation continues
