GOMOA DOMINASE CRY FOR HELP AFTER HEAVY DOWNPOUR

Residents of Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District in the Central region are crying for help after the heavy downpour on Saturday rendered hundreds of people homeless.
Speaking with Hon. Amos Kumah Asiedu,the Assembly member for Gomoa Dominase Electoral area said this same misfortune occured ten to fifteen years ago.He also described the flood as a dreadful situation because the whole town was flooded beyond imagination.
Asked about the cause of the situation,Hon. Asiedu said this incumbent flood situation is as a result of sandwinning practiced arround that area.
The Assembly member also said the possibility for one to be in danger is very high,therefore he is appealing to the authorities to put in measures to avoid sand winning in the area.
