All is set for the 2016 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) elections at the Accra Sports Stadium media centre tomorrow (Thursday).
Delegates of the various league clubs in the country are expected in Accra tonight to exercise their franchise on elections day.
Four candidates, Kudjoe Fianoo, Chief Executive officer of AshantiGold Sporting Club, Nana Oduro Sarfo, former CEO of Berekum Chelsea, Kofi Poku, vice chairman of MTN FA Cup Committee and Isaac Wilberforce Koomson, incumbent vice chairman of GHALCA are vying for the chairmanship seat.
Alex Akumey vice president of New Edubiase and George Amoako, will contest for the vice chairmanship and treasurer seats unopposed.George Offosuhene of WAFA and John Ansah of Ebusua Dwarfs will wrestle for the mantle to represent Premier League Clubs in the Association, while Otuo-Acheampong and Samuel Aboabre will go unopposed for Division One and Two repS respectively.
The elections is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
