Barring any circumstances, the first phase of the Kasoa Interchange project will be commissioned tomorrow by H.E John Dramani Mahama, Ghana’s president.
This was disclosed by the PRO to the project, Amadu Tuariq when he spoke in an interview on Pink Fm’s morningshow.
The phase that is awaiting commissioning is the main flyover.
“All is set, we have done the weight testing and all other tests, it is solid and is ever ready for usage by commuters…the president shall be coming here to commission the first phase which is complete on Tuesday” He disclosed.
The main flyover stretches from the Kasoa old market through to the Justab hospital and will be used by drivers heading towards to Winneba.
The whole project when complete is expected to drastically reduce the traffic jam situation in the township.
