ivision One League Zone II leaders Elmina Sharks were handed their  first defeat of the season after a 2-0 reverse at Dunkwa United on Wednesday.

Sharks saw their impressive 19 game unbeaten run halted by a Dunkwa United side who still have hopes of avoiding relegation from the second tier league.

Sharks went into the game with strong intent of winning but Dunkwa prove a tough opposition as they claimed maximum points.

Kobina Amissah’s side still lead the pool with 47 points; four ahead of second placed Karela FC but have a game in hand.
