DELTA FORCE 8 ARE NOT FREE, WE’LL PURSUE THEM- POLICE

The Ashanti Regional Police Commander , DCOP Ken Yeboah has stated that the DELTA FORCE 8 have not been set free since the police is carrying out investigations to re apprehend them before the court.
Members of the delta force, an Ashanti regional based, vigilante group affiliated to the governing NPP who were arrested for attacking and molesting the Ashanti regional security coordinator and vandalizing his office in March, 2017 were swiftly taken out of the court by their other colleagues amidst chanting and wielding of clubs in a Rambo style.
However, eight members of the group who were arrested were discharged at the Kumasi High Court when the state prosecutor who represented the attorney general stated that they have not enough evidence to pursue the case.
Following their release, there was a public uproar especially from members of the main opposition party NDC.
In an interview granted to Pink Fm, he stated that they have opened doors for the public to bring forth any source of evidence to the police. Meanwhile the police is conducting thorough investigations to get enough evidence to persecute them.
