CHINESE KILLED IN GAS EXPLOSION, TWO OTHERS IN A CRITICAL CONDITION

On Wednesday, a Chinese man died while the two others with him are in critical condition. This tragedy was due to the explosion of the LPG cylinder they were using to weld. This sad event happened in Wassa Akropong in the Western Region.

The force of the explosion was very massive that it exposed the internal organs of the man. Residents in the area were very terrified and they ran for their lives. Fortunately, none of them were hurt. The building in which the accident occurred was rented by the Chinese men which they converted into a welding shop. This building was extremely damaged.

An eye witness, Mr. George Cobbinah reported the incident to the police. The man also said the three men were in the building welding when the accident occurred. He immediately reported the issue to the police.

The names of the survivors are Liung Xan Xen, 52 years and Lifa Ning 43 years, the deceased’s name is not known yet.

The two survivors are receiving treatment at the Wassa Akropong Gov’t Hospital. The dead body has been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.
