Chelsea’s high-flying stars jet across the world as they are given time off ahead of Bournemouth encounter.

Chelsea’s first-team stars have been rewarded for their impressive 11-game Premier League winning streak by being given time off ahead of their next fixture.

With the top-flight leaders not in action until Boxing Day, Antonio Conte has given the green light for the likes of Thibaut Courtois and Gary Cahill to jet across the globe.

Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois, who has kept three consecutive clean sheets, has flown over to America to watch basketball in Philadelphia and Chicago.

The Belgium international posed for a picture with Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid following his side’s narrow 108-107 win over Brooklyn Nets.

Courtois, who is a big NBA fan, was spotted at the Chicago Bulls’ United Center on Monday night as he watched the Detroit Pistons lose 113-82 against the Jimmy Butler-led side.

Gary Cahill celebrated his 31st birthday overseas as he rested ahead of Chelsea’s festive fixtures which sees Conte’s side go up against Bournemouth and Stoke City on Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve respectively.

Nathaniel Chalobah looked happy in love as he posed with his girlfriend Andonia Leah Georgio at Disneyland Paris.

He may have bumped into Asmir Begovic on his travels as Chelsea’s back-up goalkeeper was also in the ‘City of Love’.

Willian, on the other hand, decided to stay closer to home as he dined out in London with his friends including former Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva.

The Brazilian winger visited Mayfair’s Novikov Restaurant as he chilled out ahead of Chelsea’s next Premier League test.

Novikov, offers customers the choice of both Italian and Asian cuisine, and is described on their website as combining ‘cool and contemporary interiors with a superlative culinary offering’.

Man of the moment Diego Costa, who elected to play for Spain despite being born in Brazil, returned to his native homeland with his lookalike brother, Jair.

Costa travelled back to his place of birth – Lagarto – to soak up the sun before his return to chilly London.

He could be given an extended break after racking up five yellow cards to miss Chelsea’s Boxing Day fixture with Bournemouth along with N’Golo Kante.

The Blues have beaten Hull, Leicester, Manchester United, Southampton, Everton, Middlesbrough, Tottenham, Manchester City, West Brom, Sunderland and Crystal Palace in consecutive Premier League games to rise to the top of the league.

Chelsea are now six points clear at the top of the table with second-placed Liverpool chasing Conte’s men.
