Arda Turan drawing Juventus interest

Juventus’ busy summer in the transfer window shows no signs of slowing down, as the club look to sign out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.

The Turkish international only arrived at Camp Nou last summer, and indeed was only eligible to play from January due to a FIFA-imposed transfer ban, but already looks set to be shown the door by the Spanish champions.

Having failed to impress since arriving from Atletico Madrid, Turan has been put up for sale by the Catalan club, alerting Juventus, according to CalcioMercatoWeb.

The former Galatasaray winger could arrive at the Bianconeri on an initial loan, with a mandatory purchase for 24 million set at the end of the season, as the Serie A champions look for cover for the potential departure of Paul Pogba.

However, Juve are facing stiff competition from Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea, with the former already expressing an interest in Turan recently. Meanwhile, the latter attempted to bring the player in before he opted for Barcelona last year.

Turan only made 13 appearances in all competitions last season for the Blaugrana.
