Report coming in from the Ashanti region indicate that one of the candidates sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Sekyere Afram Plains municipality , Janet Tutu has died this morning before the examination.
Speaking to the District Chief Executive of the Municipality,Samuel Agyakum on the issue,he mentioned that at the moment the cause for her sudden death is unknown but investigations are being conducted to know the root cause of her death.
The District Chief Executive hinted on a pink FM news program that 1,169 candidates are sittting for the examination in the Sekyere-Afram Plains Municipality.He gave the breakdown as follows: 738, Tweneboa-kodua, 228, Dadease-Agric and candidates from Bankuman, 210.
