AKUFFO ADDO’S PREFERNCE FOR AFRICAN PRINTS HAS INCREASED OUR PRODUCTION-BRONG AHAFO TAYLORS.

President Akuffo Addo’s interest for African Print has been proven admirable and increased Taylor’s production in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Some Taylors at the Brong Ahafo Region have come out to confess and shown appreciation to the president’s initiative of wearing African Prints from the year he was elected and sworn into office in the year 2016.

During the time of our Ex-President, John Agyekum Kuffour, wearing of African Print by workers was normally on Fridays. Most workers like Bankers, Media Houses Officials, Teaching Staff and other professionals all put on African Prints on Fridays.

This initiative has still been in existence and rather extended since President Akuffo Addo became the next president of the Republic of Ghana in 2016.

President’s love for African print has increased Taylor’s production and Maame Yaa Boakyewaa, a member of the Taylors Association in Brong   Ahafo has expressed the positive impact that Nana Addo’s taste for African Prints has done to their business.

A number of Taylors at Brong Ahafo have been able to maximize their production. This is because a lot of people have admired the president’s interest in the value of our African Prints and have utilized the prints in so many styles in an appropriate manner to suit the particular occasion.

Maame Yaa Boakyewaa said “the success of your work is as result of your effort, if we will reach a better place, we need to appreciate what we have because the whites appreciate they had and made ours inferior that’s the reason we are always far behind”. “Therefore, if we value and appreciate what the heavens has blessed us with as a country thereby developing our resources and improving upon them, I urge every Ghanaian that whatever that belongs to you is truly yours”.
