CONCERN CITIZENS OF FUMESUA TERRORIZES CHIEF WITH COFFIN

Citizens and residents of Fumesua, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region woke up on Sunday morning to find a coffin placed in the front of the palace of the Fumesua Chief, Nana Efah Amoako, throwing them into a state of fear.

The coffin, brown in color had been placed at the main entrance to the palace.

In a telephone interview, the Assembly Member for the town, Madam Dorothy, who confirmed this to Pink News said, “We don’t know who placed the coffin here but when we opened it we found a letter addressed to the chief inside it and it contained an invitation to a meeting scheduled for the 24th day of this month which would be conveyed by the “concern citizens” over a former cemetery believed to have been sold by the chief without the consent of the people”.

She also added that even though the chief is not in town currently, it has created fear and panic in the township also revealing that participants of the said group “Concerned Citizens of Fumesua” who has thrown the invite in this terror manner is unknown.
