Organizers of the Biggest Students Festival in Ghana, Youth Web Group Ghana has disclosed the composition of its 2017 Board Members solely responsible for the strict vetting and selection of the hardworking and deserving students who will qualify to be nominees for this year’s UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2017.
The Chief Executive Officer of Youth Web Ghana, Mr. Richmond Amofa – Sarpong in an exclusive interview has revealed the 2017 Board Members of the Biggest Students Awards Festival in Ghana and Africa as a whole will have Ghana’s Experienced Entertainment Analyst and Writer, Mr. Eugene Osafo-Nkansah of PEACEFMONLINE/NKONKONSA.COM, Mr. Kelly Mensah –CEO of EOD PARTNERS who is also a brand management expert and an entertainment analyst, Mr. George Nyemi – Tei who is a Talent management expert, Ms. Vera Oheneba Safoah who is the Winner of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beauty 2015, Mr. Reginald Laryea who is the immediate past Student Representative Council President of the Takoradi Technical University and the current UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2016 winner of the SRC president of the Year Category, Mr. Robert Nana Kodua who is a renowned and celebrated Theatre Practitioner, Mr. Kwame Okyere Jnr who is a Broadcast Journalist as well as a Youth Empowerment Expert, Mr. Jonathan Laryea who is an all round experienced writer and blogger, Mr. Kwabena Amofa who is an Educationist and one representative from UNIVERSAL MERCHANT BANK who are our headline sponsors of the scheme.
The Chief Executive Officer of Youth Web Ghana who is also the founder of the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards also added that “All Ten (10) of our newest Board members embody the spirit of community and bring talent, expertise and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to strengthen our nation’s Youth in the smooth administration of the state”.
The UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards 2017 Selection Committee (Board/Academy) will be interested in receiving nominations that focus on the Student’s individual achievements in the areas of education, social action and positive change. Candidates should be considered for outstanding contributions to their school, community and/or Ghana for a project that the individual initiated, organized or contributed to significantly. Nominees must be students.
Mr. Richmond Amofa – Sarpong however added again that this year’s UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2017 seeks to mobilize the over 315,000 Tertiary students in Ghana and the 10,383 foreign students to focus on helping build a sustainable future for Ghana hence the theme “ MOBILIZING FOR GHANA’S FUTURE THE ROLE OF TERTIARY STUDENTS” .
The UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2017 nominees must be students in our Tertiary Institutions, who have made a difference in their community by providing positive examples for their generation. Ten (10) Nominees will be selected for each category of the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards 2017 Ceremony on Friday 10thNovember, 2017 at 8:00pm at the NATIONAL THEATER.
