“THEY BETRAYED ME”_ Koku Anyidoho

 

Former NDC deputy general secretary, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has accused some key members in his party, for betraying him during their National Executives election in November 2018.

According to Koku, his boss Jonson Asiedu Nketia a.k.a General mosquito had a gentleman’s agreement with him that, he wasn’t going to contest the general secretary position in the party again. Later on, General mosquito made a U-turn, to contest him. Koku who sounded worried on radio, refused to give much details about what exactly happened, prior to his defeat in the National Democratic Congress. 2018 National executives elections,

Koku also spoke about the fact that, some elements within his party are against him, and they keep on saying bad things about him to His Excellency the former President, John Dramani Mahama. Speaking in an interview on Okay fm, Koku said “Kwame, there was a gentleman’s agreement between us, I just did not get up to contest, and there was some level of  consultation, with key stakeholders in our party. Later these people betrayed me”.

Samuel Koku Anyidoho was deputy general secretary to Asiedu Nketia in NDC for four (4) years; he later contested his boss for the general secretary position and lost. Koku was once the Director of Communication at the Presidency, during late President Atta mills regime, he is currently the Executive Director of Atta Mills Institute.
