AGENDA 111 IS A WELCOME NEWS- KOKU ANYIDOHO

The agenda 111 in Ghana was first announced by the president Akufo Addo in April 2020.

The project involves the construction of district hospitals, regional hospitals and two news psychiatric hospitals.

Nana Addo stated that, the Agenda 111 is expected to also increase the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by $2 billion and create direct and indirect jobs.

The agenda 111 vision is to make Ghana the center of excellence for medical care in west African by 2030.

Formal Deputy General Secretary of the New Democratic Congress Party (NDC) Koku Anyidoho says that the Agenda 111 initiative by the ruling government is a welcome news to all Ghanaians.

Speaking on PINK FM Morning show “Omanbapa”, he said it is not about the president Nana Addo but the continuity of doing his part as the president of the nation to help build the country.

Again, he said even almighty God didn’t use one day to create the universe.

so the president bringing up this good initiative will help the drippling health sector by building health care infrastructure will help boast it.

He stated again, that he hopes this agenda is sustainable. It is about giving quality health care to the people of Ghana.

The Ghanaian community lacks quality infrastructure and health care which has led many people to their untimely death.

Those who are rich enough travel abroad to receive proper healthcare but those who don’t have stay here and suffer.

He also stated that the late president Mills built a university for health and allied science. He was visionary enough to build such infrastructure which had eight schools, one faculty and two institutes.

Some believe that with hundred million, the government won’t be able to build the 111 hospitals promise.

So the president agenda is a very good initiative to build those infrastructures which will help reduce ailing the health care and Ghanaians as a whole.
