Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is one of the three defenders whom Luis Suárez has found it most difficult to shake off, the Barcelona striker stated in an interview with the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF). The duo are all set to lock horns again this weekend in the ‘Clásico’ at the Camp Nou.
Besides Ramos, the ‘Azulgranas’ sharpshooter picked out PSG’s Thiago Silva and Atlético Madrid’s Diego Godín, his Uruguay teammate, as the two defenders who have kept him on the tightest leash.
Suárez also revealed that his idol is legendary Argentinian marksman Gabriel Batistuta and that the players he misses most keenly in the Uruguayan national team are fellow forwards Sebastián Abreu and Diego Forlán. If he hadn’t been an attacker, the former Liverpool, Ajax, Groningen and Nacional star reckons he would have played in goal, while if he hadn’t been a footballer, he’d have liked to have been a singer.
