Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has apologized to the road contractor with whom he had a violent disagreement. The apology was made publicly.
On 1st June 2021, Shatta Wale and his ‘boys’, caused a scene when they had a brawl with an engineer at an ongoing road construction site at Adjiringanor in Accra. The apology was publicly rendered to the Project Manager at Oswal Investment Limited, Kenneth Acquah.
This happened after Mr. Acquah had threatened to sue the artiste if he did not apologize. However, Shatta has denied the allegation that he had assaulted the road contractor and his employees.
Shatta further clarified that he did not send his ‘boys’ to beat anyone up. Rather, he told them to halt the work and find the contractor.
Coincidentally, the artiste has been seen in a video publicly apologizing to the contractor. This seems like a desperate attempt to avoid being sued as the contractor had threatened.
He said, “I believe that there is some news circulating around about me having a fight with some contractors. The man in question is my dad, my friend, somebody that I always wanted to meet and it is so unfortunate that things had to happen this way, but I also want to say sorry to Kennedy for everything that happened, and I believe he will also find a place in his heart to forgive me because it’s Ghana, and we are one people, and that’s how we need to live. Anything that has happened, I believe God will take care of the rest.”
