Mark Clattenburg has been appointed by UEFA to referee the Champions League final between Real Madrid and city rivals Atletico at the San Siro in Milan.
The 41-year-old from County Durham officiated at the semi-final first leg between Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Clattenburg, who has been an international referee since 2007 and will take charge of this season’s FA Cup final on May 21, will be assisted by fellow Englishmen Simon Beck and Jake Collin in Milan.
EFA confirmed the fourth official for the showpiece European tie on May 28 will be Hungarian Viktor Kassai, while the two additional assistant referees Anthony Taylor and Andre Marriner are also both from England.
