The Assembly Members in Amasie West District in the Ashanti region, have thrown their support behind the District Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu to be reappointed by President Akuffo Addo for secured operation break the 8 barrier. Generally, the DCE reappointment can be made a success with this great support .
On addressing the media,the Presiding Member for Amansie West District Assembly, Hon. Dominic Kwabena Agyei argued that, the residents of Manso Nkwanta and its environs already have confidence and belief in him to deliver if reappointed.
Infact, it is disingenuous of the highest order to tag Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu for not participating in any of the 2020 general election campaign processes. Positively, the reappointment of the new DCE is of great interest to the people in that district.
However, to attain a greater developmental height Nii Larteh Ollenu serves as the very embodiment of the qualities and motivation needed to propel Amansie West District.
Moreover, he is a consensus builder, rewards excellence, versatile and adoptable. Also, he has excellent human relations, sustainability oriented , time conscious and has good grasp of the local government concept.
In addition,the President through Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu has executed great projects and programs.
Adding, in the aforementioned District of Health, Agriculture, Education, Water and Sanitation, Digitization, Improved Communication access and Skills training and entrepreneurship among others to improve living standards.
Again, on that score and per the feedbacks we have gathered from our communities, we feel satisfied with Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu’s performance.
Thus, we are in total support of not only the Constituency Chairman’s appeal. Any other with an underlying principle of objectivity by any individual or group for the re-nomination of Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu, he expressed his support.
Due to this, the Presiding Member for Amansie West District, Hon. Dominic Kwabena Agyei with his members are earnestly urging the President to consider the reappointment of Hon. Larteh Ollenu for the position of a DCE. This pursued and achieved the agenda break the 8 years cycle.
