ASHANTI REGIONAL MINISTER’S UNDERSTANDING OF INTELLIGENCE SOUNDS LIKE A TOMATO SELLER- PAUL BOATENG JABS.
Paul Boateng, of Africa Centre for Security and Intelligence studies jabs the Ashanti Regional Minister.
Mr. Paul Boateng has evaluated the intelligence of Mr. Simon Osei Mensah and has described it as that of a “tomato seller”. This is due to the actions the Regional Minister took in recent incidents in the town of Ejura. Ejura Sekyedumase is a district found in the Ashanti Region.
To continue, the town Ejura has recorded several unfortunate incidents. The murder of Kaaka is one incident which has triggered more controversies in the town. These unfortunate incidents created an atmosphere which led to the involvement of the Security Officers.
However, the involvement of the Security officers has created more controversies. The actions taken by Mr. Simon, the Ashanti Regional Minister in addressing the whole event has been questioned by Mr. Boateng.
Mr. Paul Boateng describes the actions taken by the Regional Minister in addressing the Ejura incident to be of low standards.

To continue, Mr. Paul Boateng made some revelations in an interview with the host, Kusi Damoah on Omanbapa Kasa. In the interview, he believes that there are some circumstances which requires the involvement of force but he believes this force should be implemented wisely.
Furthermore, Mr. Boateng expressed his displeasure on how critics term him as “so called security analyst” because there is a whole lot he has achieved being a Security analyst which most in the Security field has not achieved. Mr. Paul also added that, with a critical analyses of what the Regional Minister said, he does not understand the word (intelligence). “Intelligence is not a commodity sold in the market”.
