The vice president of Ghana,Dr.Bawumia has addressed concerns on housing activities.
This regards landlords and tenants.In Bawumia’s speech on Wednesday ,July 15,he says he plans on sending the amending the bill of 1963 regarding lands,resources and housing with the co-operation of the legislature.
The renewal of the this law is to tackle the supply of housing.According to Dr.Bawumia,his observation, housing can be improved by digitilization.
He said that digitalization,will help reduce long queues of tenants who come to complain about their problems involving their landlords.
Honorable Atta Kyia also backs Dr.Bawumia saying that the issue of rent control between landlords and tenants should be amended to improve the operation of rent control.
The digitalization process will include the rent of homes,prices,numbers of allocated years and others.
Therefore will help curb regular conflicts between tenants and landlords.
According to citifmonline.com about 91percent of Ghanaians are not property owners and therefore rent houses.
The introduction of the digitalizatiom will reduce the evolving number od conflicts between tenants and their respective owners.
Dr.Bawumia believes digitalizing housing would resolve problems as both tenants and landlords will be able to lodge their complains.
