In a post observed by Gh Page, Medikal stated that he was not treated well by the NPP government several years back.
In recounting the events, Medikal asserts that his arrest alongside Shatta Wale several years ago was unjust.
The musician mentioned that after his arrest, he did everything he could to secure his release, but the NPP government made it impossible.
He claimed that as a celebrity, he leveraged his connections to secure his release, but was met with the response that his arrest had come down as a directive from higher authorities.
