“NO POLITICAL PARTY CAN ACHIEVE ITS MANIFESTO”_ POLITICAL ANALYST

Astute political analyst Mr. Chris Tetteh has stated that, since 1992 no political party has been able to achieve its manifesto promises in the history of this country.

According to Mr. Chris ever since he stated following politics in Ghana, no political party, both NPP and NDC have not been able to fulfill their social contract with the people of Ghana.

He mentioned an example which happened during 2008 elections, the National Democratic Congress promised to do, one term premium for National Health Insurance if they should win, after late President Atta mills won the election and came into office in 2009, they couldn’t fulfill that one term premium promise, and other similar promises in their manifesto.

Mr. Chris continued to site another example in 2016 election where New Patriotic Party Promise to build factories in every constituency and also give one million dollars to every constituency in the country if they should win the general election. When the party’s candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo won and came into office, Ghanaians are yet to see that promise materialized.

Speaking in an interview on Pink 96.9 fm Omanba Pa Kasa morning show, Mr. Chris said “since 1992 no political party has ever fulfilled its manifesto promise in this country, both NPP and NDC are all guilty, When in opposition they make a lot of promises to win power, but when they come into office, they are faced with the reality and they begin to fail in delivering their social contract with the citizens”
