NIGERIAN YOUTHS COORDINATOR APPLAUDS GHANA – NIGERIA SETTLEMENT

National coordinator of Nigerian youth in Ghana, Mr. Barry has appreciated the move by the two countries to smoke peace pipe, after Ghana Union Of Traders Association intimidated some Nigeria nationals doing retail business in the country.

Mr. Barry commends the government of Ghana lead by his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila Nigeria Speaker, House of Representatives for showing leadership in solving the issues between the traders.

According to Mr. Barry, GUTA members used to attack and intimidate there for engaging in retail business in Ghana, but they believe there wouldn’t be any such things again. “We love our Ghanaian brothers and we hope they will do same for us, we thank the president for showing the way by meeting our Speaker of Parliament to resolve this long standing issue, Nigerian youths are very happy about what has happened and I entreat all of them to respect the laws of Ghana” he emphasized on Pink Fm 96.9 morning show.

The Youth leader also encouraged other foreign Nationals to live in peace with all Ghanaians to enable smooth trading environment. Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila Nigeria Speaker, House of Representatives paid a visit to Ghana, to meet the speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Professor Mike Oquay and the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, to address impasses between GUTA and some Nigerians doing retail business in the country.
