“NANA ADDO HAS TRANSFORM ASHANTI REGION”_ SAYS HON. KOKOFU

Former Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency Hon. Henry Kwabena Kokofu has expressed that, the people of Ashanti region are very pleased with President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. Because of how he has been able to transform the region, in the past three and half years of being President.

The new Environmental Protection Agency boss indicated that, President Akuffo-Addo during the 2016 campaign, promised people in Obuasi that, if he should win the elections, he was going to revive Ashanti Gold. True to his word, the President has invested huge sums of money into the gold mine and it has employed a lot of people in the region.

According to Hon. Kokofu, the NPP government lead by President Akuffo-Addo has built a lot of infrastructure in Ashanti region, these include basic and secondary schools, hospitals, market complex and others. He also indicated that electricity and water has been extended to various communities in the Ashanti region and other parts of the country to make life comfortable for the citizens.

“When you come to Ashanti region the people are very happy with what the President has given them in the last three and half years of being in office, visit every secondary school in the region, we have done a projects there, market complex have been built for our mothers to help them trade. Go to Komfo Anokye Hospital, new children’s block has been built and stock with state of the arts machines to treat our children. I just came back from the Ashanti region, I can confidently tell you that His Excellency Nana Addo has transformed the Ashanti region” former Bantama Constituency Chairman said on Pink fm morning show Omanba pa kasa hosted by Kusi Damoah KD
